The news showed kids from LA, Houston, Detroit, Kansas City and Miami walking out today...
These kids have a serious network happening, its powerful. Their grassroots stuff is effective.
Oh by the way, what ever is being deemed as an imigration problem (which I am ignorant about) is not going to be changed by legislature...
The issues seem to be almost as complex as the newtork the kids who participated in the walk outs have.
Hundreds of kids in our community shut down two high schools and walked from one end of the city to the other. In Los Anglees, there we lots more. While the kids have a hard time articulating the intricacies of the issue, there are some important christian and biblical issue to consider--I am starting a new blog about it here. Picture too, as I walked a couple of miles with them. I'd like to sign up some more contributors to the blog, let me know if you are interested.
