I enjoyed hearing this story during your sermon at the ye conference...reading it was just as powerful!
Thanks for injecting some reality into our romanticized notions of the christmas story...now maybe some real folk will be able to identify with christmas...the way God intended! He came in the flesh to make himself "real" or as Eugene Peterson put it in The Message..."The Word Became Flesh and blood and moved into the neigborhood!"
