That's funny. When I was much younger (1990 or 91- sometime), my father took us to see Bonds and Bonilla (then with the Pirates) play in Veterans Stadium. Although my younger brother was more into the Phanatic than the players, I remember Phillies fans booing Bonds even then, of course, it was only because he was a hated Pirate. I remember Bonilla having a great night with a pair of dingers, but I remember not being too impressed with Bonds and him not doing as well as I'd seen him play on TV.
