Adopt-A-School: An Idea Whose Time Has Come?
Nationwide, there are:
- 57.2 million students in nursery through high school (public and private)
- 49.3 million are in in public schools
- (Plus 15.2 million college and grad students - FYI). Source: U S Census
- 94,000 public schools
- 28, 384 private schools Source: National Center for Education Statistics 1, 2
- More than 300,000 Protestant churches
- More than 20,000 Catholic churches Source: Barna
That means 3 churches could adopt every 1 school. Why they should.
