The rivalry between the NY Daily News and NY Post took an unexpected turn today. The papers are bitter competitors with antagonistic politics, publishers that resent each other, and a penchant for headline one-upmanship. But today the ice thawed as, for the first time in my memory, both papers agreed on a headline and printed frighteningly similar covers.
